Remember when I talked about adding characters who technically did not appear in any games? Well this is my first example.

These three ghosts appeared in a really amusing short movie Sega released to promote Sonic Unleashed, called Sonic: Night of the Werehog. You can probably find it on youtube easily. Don't worry. There are no game-related spoilers. The only thing that could even be considered spoilers are the fact that Chip and the Werehog appear in the movie.

The two male ghosts remind me of Stretch and Fatso from the Casper movies... Just a little bit. But that ghost girl... while I admit she's adorable, she looks identicle to Casper. I guess Casper got a sex change when he got older... Because seriously... the shape of the face is EXACTLY the same! At least the male ghosts had fangs and looked a lot different.


I liked the movie, it reminded me of the Subspace Emissary movies on Brawl, because no characters spoke. I think that more video game companies should consider making animated movies featuring their characters. Look at the opening to Mario Tennis on the gamecube! That kind of thing could make a 30 minute cartoon, if you ask me.


Sonic has TONS of characters that don't appear in any games... the Freedom Fighters...Chris Thorndyke... Manic and Sonia... Sarah....Breezy the Hedgehog....ect... So I will hold back from making any more Sonic non-game characters in this challenge, but I will consider more if you guys have sugguestions.

...Because it's kinda hard to think of things from other games that didn't appear in any games.
