500 CC - 314: Hena

You could go the entire game without even meeting this character. I guess that's more incentive for me to want to draw her.

She's one of the many human characters, who's numbers have been increasing lately in the Zelda world. In fact, I think Link is the only Hylian in Ordon...

When Link walks into the Fishing hut, I just love that excited smile he has on his face as he looks around. Hena herself is quite cute too, what with her reacting to a lot of the things you do. She even throws you out and demands an apology if you crash around her hut too much.

She mensions having a boyfriend a few times...but never says anything about him... I was considering having link in this picture, and having them exchange this dialogue:

Hena: That boat is special. I only ride in it with my boyfriend.

Link: Boyfriend? What's his name?

Hena: Uh....Uhh... Loach.

Link: Loach? That's an odd name...where's he from?

Hena: Uhh.. Ordon!

Link: Really? I'm from Ordon.

Hena: D-did I say ordon? I meant... uhh... Kakariko!

Link: I was just there...

Hena: A different Kakariko!!!

But I decided not to go with that... because I had already outlined Hena when I thought of the dialogue.


She has a Brother and a Sister who both have some wild afros. Maybe in the 500 character plus I will draw them too...but it's not likely to happen soon.

She also seems to have that itching habit that the Fishing Guru from Ocarina of Time has...but it only shows when you look at her picture... How odd.
