When the character debuted in Super Punch-Out!! arcade version, he went by the name Vodka Drunkenski. Personally I prefer Soda Popinki. Why? Because I just fucking love soda. And so does he.

He really knows how to live... carrying two freaking crates of Soda up a cliff in the snow? How much cooler can you get? And then he even gets to test the Radioactive Soda in Title Defense.

Drawing this picture made me thirsty.

I don't speak Russian, but apparently it means "I'M SODA POPINSKI! I WILL CRUSH YOU!"

Anyway, YES! Soda Popinski, after King Hippo, Dragon Chan, and Bear Hugger, he's my favorite character! And yes, his theme is the most epic version of it ever!
